Here is a a great opportunity for students to participate in a national effort.
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg address Ken Burns has done a documentary The Address which premiers Tuesday, April 15 at 9 PM. In conjunction with the film release, Ken Burns, along with numerous partners, has launched a national effort to encourage everyone in America to video record themselves reading or reciting the speech. Watch some of the videos already recorded here. You want to record your own and share go here and follow the directions to upload your recorder version of the Gettysburg Address.
