Change? Maybe?

Question for the day:

Sometimes it feels like we don't really want reform or change in education.  We talk about change and reform.  We act like we want to see things change. But do we?   We just go out and find new stuff like curriculum packages and packaged programs. Maybe we find a couple of new ideas that might help bring about change.  But all we do is try to fit this stuff or new ideas into what we already have or what we are already doing. The so called change becomes just another thing on our plate.

In a meeting today Jeff Potts made a comment that got me thinking: if we bulldozed all the schools and had to rebuild from from the ground up what would you hold onto? Would your schools look different?
